The long industrial history of TIESSE ROBOT began in September 1976 with the founding of TECNOMECC, a company specialising in the manufacture of special automation machines.
The crucial approach to the world of robotics took place at the beginning of the Eighties and in 1987 the company signed the agreement with KAWASAKI HEAVY INDUSTRIES for the direct agency of its products with establishment of the company SIROBOT.
A strategic decision which opened up new scenarios. In 1991 the company TIESSE ROBOT was launched, merging TECNOMECC and SIROBOT.
This new reality was so interesting for the Japanese partner that it encouraged Kawasaki to purchase 24.9 % of the company’s shares. From this moment, the business of TIESSE ROBOT placed it as one of the leaders in the robotic automation market.
