An emerging topic in automation is cooperation between an operator and a robotized arm in the same work areas, without the need for stringent physical restricting safety devices. In this sector, Kawasaki Robot presents the “Duaro” double robotized arm, quick to install, without making any changes to line configuration, in workstations where operators are working and in areas with assembly, test or inspection operations regarding mechanical, electronic parts, etc.
Duaro is compact and fitted on a mobile carriage, which also contains the robotized arm control unit. The robot can have a minimum configuration of 2 plus 2 axes with the application of end effector of the pneumatic type at the ends, up to a maximum of 4 plus 4 axes to make the system more flexible in managing the work areas. Ease of installation is accompanied by teaching operations made easier thanks to the use of a tablet or through an operator. Load capacity is 2 - 4 kg and it can be connected to vision systems for greater operating flexibility. Duaro is ISO 13849-1– EN ISO 10218-1 certified.
