At the last Irex show in Tokyo, Kawasaki Robotics and Toshiba Machine presented some important new products all set to revolutionize industrial automation applications.
Kawasaki Robotics launched two new RS Series robots: the RS7N and RS7L models with dynamic speed and management features that place them at the top of the market. The RS7N has a reach of 730 mm, while that of the RS7L robot is 930 mm with +/- 0.02 mm repeatability. Both are equipped with wrists with IP67 degree of protection and will be connected to the super-compact and powerful Kawasaki F60 controller. Spotlights also turned onto the BX200X hollow wrist model, with a payload of 200 kg and an arm reach of 3412 mm This machine has the largest working area for robots from 165 to 250 kg payload, which will permit optimizing various applications, for example in case of operation with machine tools and large die-casting presses. Like the other models in the BX Series, it is connected to the E03 universal controller, designed for energy saving.
The new Kawasaki robots described above are marketed and serviced by Tiesse Robot.
