The CP-RD Series robots are also equipped with Kawasaki Robotics' E03 controller, a system capable of saving 30 to 40 % energy.
The E03 controller recovers the kinetic energy of the motors when they brake (regenerative braking); this energy is converted in the energy regeneration unit and returned to the grid.
