Kawasaki Robotics introduces the new CL Series line of collaborative robots. The Japanese giant's fifty years of robotics experience meets the innovation of Neura Robotics, a high-tech company based in Stuttgart.
The brand new CL Series offers typical industrial performance and speed - industry-leading speeds of 200°/s and a repeatability of ± 0.02 mm - combined with maximum operator safety and all the benefits of collaborative robotics. Also combined with an intuitive user interface, the CL series makes production line automation easier than ever.
Flexibility as the watchword
With payloads and reaches of 3 kg/590 mm, 5 kg/800 mm, 8 kg/1300 mm and 10 kg/1000 mm, the four models of the CL series of collaborative robots offer the perfect solution for every scenario. Free-standing mounting, an extremely small footprint and IP66 classification (protection against the ingress of dust and liquids from any direction) offer additional flexibility for all models.
Kawasaki Robotics' line of collaborative robots is the perfect choice for automating simple, repetitive tasks while effectively saving costs and maximising revenue.
Designed in Germany, the CL Series offers excellent performance thanks to high quality components such as integrated 24-bit encoders - among the highest resolutions on the market - and an extremely lightweight yet reliable construction.
Maximum operator safety
The proprietary safety architecture and numerous functions for safety positions, speed, torque, zones, limits and collision detection allow the CL Series collaborative robots to truly work alongside the operator.
The CL Series can also safely handle even the most difficult parts and assemble objects with constant force, eliminating waste and preventing costly collisions.
As with Kawasaki's industrial robots, all data and power cables pass safely through the robot arm. In addition, dirt can be easily washed away.
The CL series covers all common interfaces, such as EtherCAT, IO-Link, CAN, Modbus and GPIO. The TCP connector flange offers digital I/O ports (in/out), analogue input ports and 24 V 600 mA power supply.
